This two day class takes the new concreter through the basics prior to starting his construction employment, teaching him/her the basics of most aspects, of placing and finishing concrete. If you're an employer with a team of masons (over 15) we can come to your site and conduct the pour and seminar. All participants will receive a certificate
ADVANCED CONCRETE FINISHING
Brushes up on what was learnt in the basic concrete finishing, and continues into broader bull floats, float pans, trowelling machine 48 better ways to use them for tighter tolerances. Wet weather finishing.
This two day class takes the concreter to another level in his finishing abilities. In this course we touch on the longer Bull Floats Check Rods, and the re-straightening process to obtain flatter floors. Float pans are introduced to the machines and your concreter learns the correct procedure to a flatter floor, larger width walk behind trowelling machines are used and the correct movement of the body to rotating machine are learnt. Wet weather finishing , the basics of this skill will be taught, what to do, and when to do it!
(All concreters passing this exam will receive a personalized identification card referencing his/her skills. The employer will receive a certificate)

TRAINING, FOR RIDE ON MACHINE OPERATORS
Training for your operators to understand the workings of this valuable piece of machinery. The correct movement and the additional skills learnt will greatly improve your operators productivity and produce flatter floors for you and your team.
Depending on the operators experience this can be a 1 or 2 day/night course, with either our machinery or your own. (Depending on where you are situated in the world.) This course is certificated.

Best suited for the forepersons, also good for the lead-men.
Learn pump location, Pump line layout, Estimating Concrete Volumes, Ordering Concrete and time required between trucks , Slumping Testing and Why, Estimating labor requirements, Having the right Equipment for the job. Planning the best location to stop each run of a pouring sequence. Pumping Sequence .
This course caters for the fore-people and superintendents who want to get it right and leave nothing to chance, as indeed all pours should be!
This will greatly decrease your pouring times, thus reducing the risks of Cold Joints, Man Power required for pump lines, Running costs for your Concrete pumps, and Maintenance Costs, Employees Overtime etc.
This is a 3 hour certificated course.
